The impact of the USAF and Moody Air Force Base
Since the 1940’s Moody AFB has had a great impact upon the local amateur radio community. Because of the transit nature of the men and women who serve, many amateurs have come and gone but they each one has left a huge impact on the VARC. One impact in particularly has been in the area of leadership but in general they have been great club members and friends. With these thoughts in mind the VARC membership has been and always will be grateful to our service men and women of Moody AFB.
