Repeater Systems Status

W4VLD/R  – ANALOG Repeaters- STATUS

Currently the VARC VHF repeater system is ONLINE (IMPAIRED RECEIVE)  due to lightening damaged antenna system.

2 Meter Repeater 146.760 MHz -600 KHz  CTCSS 141.3 Hz

Currently the VARC UHF  repeater system is ONLINE but with impaired operations.  Linked worldwide with All Star network.

70 CM Repeater 444.700 MHz +5 MHz CTCSS 141.3 Hz  Linked worldwide with All Star network.

The VARC repeater technical team asks membership for farther support to make repairs to antenna system. It was found during testing that antennas failed sweep tests and require replacement.  Both the transmit and receive range is diminished for HT and mobile operators.

The VARC repeater technical team is now working on the AC power situation at the site.

 

W4VLD/R – DIGITAL Repeaters- STATUS

The D-Star repeater systems are ONLINE but may be impaired.

Module C (145.140 MHz -.600) is currently ONLINE.

Module B (443.71250 MHz +5) is currently ONLINE, but is in need of a permanent duplexer.

Module A (1282.82500 MHz -12) is currently ONLINE due to the new 1.2ghz duplexer/combiner being installed.

Module D (1299.250 MHz simplex) is currently ONLINE  due to the new 1.2 GHz duplexer/combiner being installed.

Both D-Star repeaters have been configured and tested by technical team.   The team worked with site officials to obtain more shelter space for both the old and new D-STAR equipment.

The VARC D-Star project progress is currently slowed but with your support these systems can be brought fully online soon. The team asks members to help support this project.

W4VLD-1 – APRS Digi-peater – STATUS

The APRS is  ONLINE with temporary equipment until VARC equipment can be repaired.

The VARC repeater technical team has moved equipment to the new equipment room.
